Administrative Update
Supplier Registration
Supplier registration is closed. If you are a supplier and
you have not yet registered for Florida Huddle 2008 Tampa Bay, your can still be put on
the wait list. However, don't get your hopes up. Chances of getting a booth at this stage
are very very slim.
"We need to close supplier registration every year," reports Florida Huddle President
Lynn Warren, "but I never find it an easy thing to do. I just hate to tell suppliers
they can't come. However, one of the things that keeps Florida Huddle a vital show
is that the buyer/supplier ratio is strictly enforced so that everyone has an appointment
schedule that will keep them busy and productive throughout the entire appointment
driven show."
Prescheduled Appointments
Suppliers have submitted their appointment requests. Buyers have submitted their appointment
requests. The computer is humming with the sounds of matches being made.
If you have not already submitted your appointment requests, please get them in as
soon as possible. Time is running out.
Venue Selection
The site selection has been made and the contracts have been signed. Florida Huddle
2009 Orlando will be held at the Caribe Royale Resort, February 1-3, 2009. Mark your
calendars. Registration for 2009 will begin at this year's show.
Sales and Marketing Update
You've probably seen our new Sales and Marketing Representative. She's been here,
there, and everywhere. TIA's Pow Wow, World Travel Market, Skal meetings, CVB functions,
Brenda Smith is there spreading the Florida Huddle story to buyers and suppliers alike.
When we meet in Tampa Bay for the 32nd annual Florida Huddle, you'll see new faces from new places.
Their new business contracts from new contacts will make them really glad they got to meet Brenda
and learned more about the constantly updating features of Huddle...Florida's Show!

Media and Public Relations Update
Annual Press Conference
Approximately forty travel industry journalists from around the world have registered to attend
the 32nd Annual Florida Huddle 2008 Tampa Bay, January 27-29 2008.
On Monday afternoon, these journalists will be joined by local tv, radio, and print
representatives to attend the annual Press Conference where they will hear from the following
panel of experts:
Lynn Warren, President Huddle International, LLC Florida Huddle
Steve Hayes, Exec. VP Tampa Bay and Company
Bud Nocera, Pres. & CEO Visit Florida
Bill Lupfer, Pres. & CEO Florida Attractions Assoc.
Gary Sain, Pres. & CEO Orlando/Orange County CVB
DJ Towle, Dir. of Media and Public Relations for Florida Huddle will act as facilitator.
A question and answer period will follow the presentations by the panelists.
Press Releases and Media Kits
Registered delegate companies, supplier and buyer, are reminded that they may supply up to
25 copies of their press kit or a press release for distribution in the press room to our
attending media delegates. Please bring your information to the press room on Sunday afternoon,
January 27th between 10:00 am and 5:00 PM. There is no charge for this service.
